Age Ice Age is a period in the Earth's history when the glaciers expand and cover a significant portion of the land. The last Ice Age occurred about 12,000 years ago, and it lasted for about 10,000 years. During this time, the Earth's climate was much colder than it is now, and the world was a vastly different place. Humans also lived during this time, and they adapted to the cold and harsh conditions by wearing animal skins and building shelters. The end of the Ice Age was marked by a gradual warming of the climate, which caused the glaciers to retreat.
